Plan a funeral

First Steps After Losing A Loved One

GW Kelly understands how overwhelming it can be trying to organise a funeral at such an emotional time. A funeral is an important part of the grieving process and a way to express your love, respect and gratitude for your loved one who has died. We are here to assist you through each step.

When someone dies, a medical death certificate will be issued by a doctor, either at home, in a hospital or nursing home. At this point, you need to contact a Funeral Director. You should choose one that you feel comfortable with and with whom you have complete confidence in. Once a Funeral Director is chosen, they will appoint an Arranger to help you with all the important decisions.

At GW Kelly, we have the experience and expertise to help deliver the unique service you require through what is often a difficult time. The first step is contacting us on (02) 9773 0637, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we can begin assisting you immediately.
