NOTIFICATION OF DEATH
Whether the death occurs at home, in a hospital, at an aged care facility or elsewhere, the first person who should be contacted is the deceased’s doctor. Legally, a death certificate must be signed by a doctor who will explain what steps need to be taken to establish the cause of death.

TRANSFER CARE
Once a medical death certificate is issued by a doctor, the care of the deceased needs to be transferred to a funeral provider. At GW Kelly Funerals, we are available 24/7 to make the next steps as seamless and caring as possible.

DECIDING ON THE FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS
When making funeral arrangements, most people have little or no prior experience and don’t know what to do. Our team is available 24/7 to step you through the process and advise you on the matters that need to be considered. We also have a portal full of detailed information to assist with making funeral arrangements.
